Connectivity Analyser reports "Failed to create temporary folder for performing tests."

After finding users cannot set  AutoReplies ie. out of the Office from Outlook error suggested Exchange Server is not online (but users can send receive emails and can set AutoReplies from OWA)

I decided to run Microsoft Connectivity analyzer - I get the following error

Hi

Normally when you cannot set OOO replies is because autodiscover is blocked, not setup or not functioning correctly. Can you hold down ctrl and right click on the outlook icon next to the clock on the taskbar and select "Test Email autoconfiguration". Run the test and see if it resolves all your URLS correctly.

Hi,

To understand more about the issue, Id like to confirm if all users come across the issue.

Except with the above suggestion, lets also check if we can access the EWS virtual directory.

And here are the steps you can refer to :

  1. Test Email auto-configuration on Outlook only with Use AutoDiscover.
  2. Check the Results, and find the OOF URL which Outlook client trying to access.
  3. Input OOF URL in IE and see whether it can be accessed successfully.

Thanks,

A

Hi,

Lets try the following troubleshooting:

1. Check the authentication of your EWS virtual directory in IIS manager.
Here is the checking path you can refer to:
Exchange server>IIS manager>default wed sites>EWS>authentication
2. Use Get-ServerHealth cmdlet to retrieve health information related to the server you specify.
3. Check if there is any error in application log

Thanks,
Angela
